Our projects
Vaccination
In our recent outreach efforts, we have successfully vaccinated several dogs in order to protect not only the animals themselves, but also their owners and the people who live in our community. By providing this vital protection, we are working to prevent the spread of disease and ensure the well-being of both the pets and the people who care for them. Through these efforts, we are making a positive impact on the health and safety of our community, and we are committed to continuing our work to provide essential care for our furry friends.
Construction of Shelter
We have constructed shelter for the dogs and while it may not be up to our organization's standards yet, it is currently providing a good home for over 40 dogs. Our plans for the near future include building a better shelter that will meet our high standards and provide an even more comfortable and safe environment for the dogs in our care. Despite not being perfect, the current shelter is serving its purpose and making a positive impact on the lives of these animals. We are committed to continuously improving and providing the best possible care for all the dogs under our care.
Community Out Reach
We’ve supported communities ( dog owners ) with dog food , vet care and also sensitization campaigns in villages of kayunga district for past 2 years
Acquisition of land
We are planning to acquire land in Kayunga district to expand our activities and improve the care of our animals. With this new land, we aim to create a better environment for our animals and provide them with the space and resources they need to thrive. This expansion will allow us to enhance our current operations and implement new strategies for the welfare of our animals. We are excited about the possibilities that this new land will bring and are committed to making the most of this opportunity to further our mission of caring for animals.
Construction Better Shelter in Kayunga
We hope to build a new and improved shelter for the animals in order to accommodate the ever-increasing number of animals that we are receiving. With this new shelter, we will be able to provide a safe and comfortable environment for all the animals in our care. This expansion will allow us to continue our mission of rescuing and providing homes for animals in need.
Future Prospects
Since our founder has a Veterinary background we hope to be able to constructed a veterinary clinic that will offer veterinary consultation services for free and also offer veterinary medicine at a substantial price in order to reduce the burden of the dogs health care in the region and the country at large.
